Our pieces are crafted from stainless steel and pure, untreated brass - the latter a noble material that tarnishes naturally and develops a natural patina, lending depth and character unique to every piece. Please keep the products dry. If water, oil or acids touches the surface, wipe it away at once. Ava products should never be washed in a dishwasher or exposed to strong cleaning agents or detergents as this can damage the surface.

For those who prefer a radiant, mirror-like finish, we recommend gentle, regular polishing. Always handle with care and use a soft dry cloth and mild abrasives when polishing to restore the luminous glow while protecting the surface. 

Use small amounts of polish at a time and work with even applications for the finest result. Excessive use of polish or water-based cleaners may compromise the surface and are not advised. Whether left to mature with a dark, velvety patina or kept in a brilliant shine, with a little care your Ava Servé piece will continue to embody timeless elegance.

Oak Care:

Our wooden pieces are crafted from natural, oiled oak, a living material that continues to breathe and evolve over time. Subtle variations in tone and grain are inherent to the wood’s character, and seasonal changes in temperature and humidity may cause the oak to expand or contract slightly. This is a natural part of its life and should be embraced as a sign of authenticity. When storing your piece, keep the metal plate inserted to ensure the fit remains consistent over time.

To care for the surface, simply wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid excessive moisture, harsh cleaners or abrasive tools, as these can disturb the finish. Spills should be removed promptly. To maintain the oak’s warm, tactile glow, reapply a suitable natural furniture oil when the surface begins to feel dry. Apply sparingly and evenly, allowing the wood to absorb the nourishing oils at its own pace.
